What time does the entertainment start?
The free live entertainment begins every night at 6:30pm.
Do I have to be over 18 to attend the festival in the evening?
No. Patrons of any age are able to attend Taste!
Where can I get my Taste tickets? So many places, you’re sure to be close to one of them! Here are all of the places you can get advance tickets for $10 off.
How can I pay for Taste tickets?
Our Ticket Centre accepts cash, debit, MasterCard, and Visa.
How much are tickets?
The festival is free to attend. If you want to sample some of Edmonton’s best dishes and beverages, ticket prices are $57 (including tax) for a sheet of 40 from June 1-July 17. Be sure to take advantage of our presale by purchasing them on our website, TGP stores, Co-op Gas Bars and select Co-op stores. During the festival July 18-28, tickets will increase to $67 (incl GST) for a sheet of 40 tickets.
I have extra Taste tickets, what can I do with them?
If you have any leftover Taste tickets, you can donate them at the Info Booth where the funds will be invested in the Taste of Edmonton Endowment Fund for our community partners.
Are there ATMs on-site?
Yes. There are ATMs beside the Info Booth.
Where are the washrooms?
There are washrooms located throughout Capital Plaza. Consult the sitemap for details.
How can I get to Taste?
Being in the heart of Edmonton, Edmonton Transit System is your best and easiest bet to get to Taste. Grandin/Government Centre LRT Station is located close to the site, and a number of bus stops are just steps away from the Plaza. We strongly recommend taking advantage of Edmonton Transit System’s regular bus/LRT service. There is also a free shuttle service running from the Grant MacEwan University.
Where can I park my car?
Parking is in short supply in downtown Edmonton. As above, we recommend using Edmonton Transit Service. Grandin/Government Centre LRT Station is our closest stop. Check out ETS and Park and Ride options.
Can I bring my dog to Taste?
While we love dogs, the health department doesn’t. Guide dogs are permitted. Public Health Act Food Regulation (Section #38)
It’s raining. Is Taste still happening?
Yes! We happen rain or shine (hopefully it will shine every day!).

Is there a Lost & Found?
We do have a Lost & Found on-site located in the information booth located at the interesection of 108st and 99ave. After the event, any Lost & Found items not claimed will be dropped off at Police Headquarters downtown on 103 Ave.
