  • How many tickets do I need to taste a few different restaurants?

    On average, 20 tickets is enough for one person. If you're a big eater and want to enjoy drinks, we would suggest 30 tickets.

  • Can I pay with cash?

    The festival is only accepting credit and debit. However you can purchase tickets with cash at TIX On The Square, conveniently located on the festival site! Please note: masks are mandatory when entering TIX On The Square. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided for you.

  • Why did the festival move from Capital Plaza back to Churchill Square?

    Capital Plaza was a temporary home as Churchill Square was completing construction in 2018 and 2019. Taste of Edmonton's 2021 festival has a brand new site plan that allows for ample physical distancing. You can check out the map here!

  • What are Taste of Edmonton’s cleaning protocols?

    Taste of Edmonton has implemented enhanced hygiene and disinfecting protocols:

    Hand sanitizing stations throughout the festival site
    Plexiglass at ticket booths, Canada Dry Beverage Centre, 630 CHED Information Centre
    Cleaning Crews to regularly sanitize seating areas

    Under the guidance of Alberta Health Services we will continue to implement the appropriate and current safety procedures and protocols before welcoming guests.

    We do have a Lost & Found on-site located in the Info Centre. After the event, any Lost & Found items not claimed will be dropped off at the Events Edmonton office.

    If you have any leftover Taste tickets, you can donate them at the 630 CHED Information Centre or any gate. The funds will then be invested in the Taste of Edmonton Endowment Fund for our community partners.

Taste of Edmonton is happening on Churchill Square in downtown Edmonton, on 100 Street and 102 A Ave!

The festival admission and concerts are free to attend. If you want to sample some of Edmonton’s best dishes and beverages, advance ticket prices are $59.50 for a sheet of 40, and $69.50 on-site for a sheet of 40.

If you have any leftover Taste tickets, you can donate them at the Info Centre where the funds will be invested in the Taste of Edmonton Endowment Fund for our community partners.

Yes. There will be ATMs beside the Info Centre.

There are washrooms located throughout Churchill Square. Site map to be announced.

Being in the heart of Edmonton, Edmonton Transit System is your best and easiest bet to get to the festival. Churchill Station is located below the site, and a number of bus stops are just steps away from the Square. We strongly recommend taking advantage of Edmonton Transit System’s regular bus/LRT service. View the ETS schedule here.

There are numerous parking lots surrounding Churchill Square, such as City Hall. Check out the City of Edmonton’s lots, rates, and hours.
