When is Taste of Edmonton?

The Taste of Edmonton festival will be held from July 20 – July 29, 2023 (11:00 AM – 11:00 PM) July 30, 2023 (11:00 AM – 9:00 PM)

Where is Taste of Edmonton this year?

We are back at Sir Winston Churchill Square.

When do tickets go on sale?

The ticket presale begins on June 1st.

Where can I purchase tickets?

Tickets can be purchased online through our website, at our head office located at 11735-108 Avenue, all North Central Co-Op Grocery and Gas Bar locations, Tix on the Square, and pending pop-up markets and other festivals happening in the city. You can also purchase tickets at Taste of Edmonton itself

How much are tickets?

The festival admission and concerts are free to attend. If you want to sample some of Edmonton’s best dishes and beverages, advance ticket prices which last until July 19th, are $59.50 for a sheet of 40, and $69.50 on-site for a sheet of 40.

How many tickets do I need?

Menu items from our restaurant partners are between 2-4 tickets, and alcoholic beverages are between 5-8 tickets.

Do I need to book a date/time to attend the festival?

Nope! You can come down and enjoy the festival any time. Tickets are good to use on any day of the festival.

I am from out of town, where can I stay?

Taste of Edmonton has partnered with the JW Marriott ICE District, the Westin and Delta Edmonton City Centre. Please visit the “stay with us” page for more information!

Is there parking at the festival?

Because the festival takes place downtown, there are some paid parking options available. Visit our website for a list of parking options nearby. We also recommend getting to the festival via public transit such as the bus or LRT or via Yellow Cab. Our website also includes a trip planner and information on which lines to take.

Are there ATM's on site?

Yes. There will be ATMs beside the Info Centre.

If I have extra tickets, what can I do with them?

If you have any leftover Taste tickets, you can donate them at the 630 CHED Information Centre or any gate. The funds will then be invested in the Taste of Edmonton Endowment Fund for our community partners.

Can I bring my dog to the festival?

Dogs are permitted on site, however are not allowed in food preparation areas. All dogs must be leashed and the owner is responsible for cleaning up after them.

Is the festival still happening if it's raining?

Yes! We happen rain or shine (hopefully it will shine ever day!).

What items are being served this year?

Please check back in spring of 2023 for the full 2023 menu.

Who is performing?

2023 performance schedule will be announced spring of 2023.

Do I need a ticket for the performances?

No! All performances are free to the public and seating/viewing is on a first come first serve basis.

Will there be alcohol at the festival?

Yes, The Canadian Brewhouse lounge is back serving your favourite drinks this year! You are free to carry your drinks around the festival with you, however, outside beverages are not permitted inside the festival grounds.

I am interested in performing at the festival, is that possible?

Our 2023 menu has already been finalized but we encourage you to fill out the application on our website for a chance to join us at next years festival.

I would like to volunteer at the festival, how can I do so?

We would love to have you be a part of the Taste of Edmonton family and are always looking for volunteers! Please visit our website and fill out our volunteer application form.

I am interested in being a sponsor at the festival, is that possible?

Are photographs being taken at the festival?

Photographs and videos will be taken at this event for use on the Events Edmonton and Taste of Edmonton websites, social media, marketing materials, and for other marketing and promotional uses. By entering this event, you consent to the photographing, recording and the use of your image and likeness. So share how much fun you’re having and smile!

Are skateboards or rollerblade allowed on site?

No wheeled toys including bicycles, roller blades, skateboards, or scooters are permitted on the festival grounds.

Can I smoke at the festival?

The festival grounds are a non-smoking area. This includes tobacco, marijuana, and vaporizers.

I have dietary restrictions, how do I know what I can eat?

All menu item food descriptions can be found under the 2023 menu on our website. Information regarding Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten Friendly, Dairy Free and Nut Containing dishes is listed beside each menu item.

Where can I purchase 50/50 tickets?
