To protect the health and safety of Edmontonians, Events Edmonton announces that the 2020 Taste of Edmonton will be postponed to July 22 – August 1, 2021, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“The health and safety of our staff, restaurant partners, volunteers, and Edmontonians is a responsibility that we take very seriously. Now more than ever Edmontonians need the enjoyment of so many amazing local restaurants and entertainment. However following the guidelines set out by governing bodies about mass gatherings, our organization felt strongly that Taste of Edmonton 2020 cannot proceed in these unprecedented times,” says Donovan Vienneau, General Manager of Events Edmonton.
Events Edmonton has monitored the latest news and updates from provincial and federal authorities in hopes that circumstances would improve to be able to come together for another Taste of Edmonton festival this summer. This pandemic is a devastating blow to the local industry but the health of everyone who attends and participates in the Festival is a major priority.
On behalf of the Board and staff at Events Edmonton, stay safe, be well and please support local amazing partners!
Stay tuned for Taste of Edmonton 2021 updates.
